This policy explains what Pierre Refrigeration Services collects when you use this website, why, and who else sees it. In short: we collect what we need to respond to a service request, we do not sell it, and this site sets no advertising or analytics trackers.
What we collect
We only collect information you type in yourself. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.
When you request service or book a call
The booking form asks for:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the service address and, if it is a business, the business name;
- which service you need, your preferred date, and how urgent it is;
- details about the equipment — type, make and model, roughly how old it is, whether it is still running, and what it is doing;
- anything else you add in the notes field.
The equipment details are there so the technician knows what they are walking up to and can bring the right parts. You can leave any of them blank.
When you use the assistant on this site
Whatever you type into the chat is sent to the AI provider that generates the reply. Do not put payment card details, passwords or anything else sensitive into it. If you would rather not use the assistant, call us on (678) 778-6648.
When you just read the site
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social-media tracking pixels. Our hosting and content delivery providers process standard server request information, including your IP address, in order to serve the page to you and to protect the site from abuse.
Why we collect it
- to answer your enquiry and schedule the visit;
- to bring the right parts and the right information to the job;
- to contact you about that job;
- to keep our own records of work requested and carried out.
We do not use it for automated advertising or profiling, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a repair.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It reaches these providers only because they run part of this service:
- Our scheduling provider — receives the name, email, phone number and notes attached to a booking, because it holds the calendar the appointment is made in.
- Our AI provider — receives the messages you send to the assistant, in order to generate a reply.
- Our hosting, database and content-delivery providers — store and serve the site and the records behind it.
- Google Fonts — serves the typeface this site uses, which means your browser requests it from Google and Google receives your IP address in the process.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (678) 778-6648 or write to us at the address below and tell us what you would like done. We will need enough information to find your record and to be confident it is yours.
If you ask us to delete something we are required to keep — a record of work carried out, for example — we will tell you that rather than quietly ignoring the request.
Keeping it safe
Access to booking records is limited to people who need it to do the work. The site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not keep card details on this site at all, because payment is never taken through it.
Children
This site is aimed at property and business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
